National
Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame
Each year, three deserving individuals are inducted into
the National Auctioneers Hall of Fame. Qualifications for
consideration include honesty, high ethical standards, willingness
to share with others, standing in his or her community,
state and national organizations and contributions to the
National Auctioneers Association and the auction profession.
Since 1961, when the Hall of Fame was established, only
115 men and women have been awarded this high honor by their
peers.
Diamond Gavel
Lifetime Giving Award
The National Auctioneers Foundation recognizes those individuals
who have contributed at least $100,000 over their careers
to the Foundation. The Diamond Gavel Award is for the support
of funding research, education and advancement of the auction
community.
CAI Outstanding
Service Award
In the thirty three year history of the Certified Auctioneers
Institute, CAI the Outstanding Service Award "In Grateful
Appreciation For Your Outstanding And Dedicated Service"
has only been given to one individual. Steve received this
honor in 2006.

Ms. DeLair's dynamic style and professionalism have earned
her numerous honors including: 2001 New York State Auctioneer
Champion, 2002 Second Runner-up International Auctioneering
Champion and 2002 World Auctioneer Championship in Calgary,
Canada.
In 2003, her peers selected Ms. DeLair as the New York
State "Auctioneer of the Year" for exemplary service, spirit
and high standard of standards of professionalism.
Ms. DeLair currently serves as the Chairman of the Board
of the New York State Auctioneers Association, where she
was past president in 2004.
June is has achieved the prestigious Certified Auctioneers
Institute (CAI) designation, which is the highest level
of educational designation for professional auctioneers,
a three-year institute held at Indiana University. Only
three percent of auctioneers nationwide hold this professional
designation. Ms. DeLair is also a member of the National
Auctioneers Association.

The New Hampshire Auctioneers Association Golden Gavel Award
is presented from time to time by the existing awardees
when they feel that someone is worthy of the award for special
recognition of "outstanding service to the auction profession.
D Byers was the 3rd recipient. The award was a complete
surprise to D.
