We've all been to silent auctions that never get energized and don't bring in the money. What's gone wrong? Here are some often overlooked mistakes that are easily corrected so you can raise more money.

The one thing that can make a silent auction whimper instead of shout is poorly utilized space. Tables jammed together, a "conga line" of people pushing forward, and not enough room for people to look at silent auction items, does not makes for silent auction success. Spread out your tables and consider round tables for great bidding flow and display.
