An professional auctioneer and consultant since 1986, Kathy Kingston has raised millions of dollars for non-profit organizations across the country. She consistently helps clients exceed their fundraising goals and offers a wealth of practical strategies for revenue enhancement.

Ms. Kingston serves as an organization's strategic partner, helping them leverage their benefit auction to meet fundraising needs today and into the future. Kathy Kingston stands apart as a creative professional who brings both a long-range perspective and out-of-the-box thinking to maximize her clients' fundraising efforts and break revenue records.

Kathy holds a Master's Degree in Education from St. Louis University where she was named "Woman of the Year". She graduated from Missouri Auction School in 1986. Her professional background also includes an award-winning career in nonprofit fundraising, higher education, university coaching, public service administration, and the entertainment industry.

A popular speaker, she conducts innovative fundraising auction seminars and workshops. Ms. Kingston is the author of "Record-Breaking Fundraising Auctions: Volumes I and II". Kathy provides innovative training and coaching for non profits and professional auctioneers.

Kathy is the 2006 recipient of the prestigious "Rose Award" by the National Auctioneers Association. Her award winning Auction Summary Report is a requirement for the CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute) designation, which Kingston received in March 2006. Only 3% of auctioneers nationwide hold this designation. Each year, only one CAI designee receives the Rose Award.

Ms. Kingston was a member of the Charter Class of the Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) professional designation program. She is the first instructor to teach the Benefit Auction Class in the 30 year history of the Certified Auctioneer Institute held at Indiana University. She served on the Board of Directors of New Hampshire Auctioneers Association from 2004-2007. Ms. Kingston was also finalist in the 2003 International Auctioneer Championship. She was the chairperson of the Certified Auctioneers Institute 30th Anniversary Gala Auction Committee. Ms. Kingston is member of the Public Relations Committee and President's Advisory Council Think Tank of the National Auctioneers Association.

Some of Ms. Kingston's additional accomplishments include:

Developed corporate and media sponsorships: She secured $450,000 annually to fund the city-wide beautification program.
Directed a large city department: As Director of Cultural and Recreational Services for the municipality of Anchorage, Ms. Kingston managed a $20 million budget and over 250 employees. She oversaw the Museum, Library system, Parks and Recreation, Beautification and the Arts and Culture grants program.
Managed large volunteer grass roots efforts: She led a $1 million fundraising campaign to build a downtown Town Square Park.

These efforts and more have led to numerous awards that include:

Woman of the Year, St. Louis University
Aurora Award, Public Relations Society of Alaska
Community Organization Award, Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau
